Who builds Octuno, and what for

Octuno is a product of Octuno GmbH, based in Dortmund, Germany. This page states which problem we set out to solve for Amazon sellers, the principles we decide by and where the product actually stands today – including the points that argue against us.

What Octuno set out to do

Inventory planning on Amazon rarely fails for lack of effort. It fails because the numbers that belong together sit in four separate systems – and because nobody maintains a spreadsheet daily when the week is full without it. Four pictures keep coming back.

Inventory lives in a spreadsheet: Sales history comes from Seller Central, goods received from the supplier's email, lead time from memory. Every figure is right on its own. Added up, it is only right on the day somebody last touched the sheet.
The order quantity does not know the FBA limit: A coverage calculation tells you how much you will sell. Whether Amazon will even let that quantity into the warehouse sits in a completely different view – and often only surfaces when you create the shipment, long after the goods were ordered.
The margin is only final once the settlement arrives: Referral fee, FBA fee by package size, storage cost and the VAT rate per marketplace add up to a number almost nobody works out before buying. After buying, it is no longer negotiable.
Every channel keeps its own truth: Amazon, eBay, Kaufland, TikTok Shop and your own store all sell from the same physical stock, but each reports it separately. Reconciliation happens in the seller's head, or not at all.

That is exactly where Octuno starts: a forecast built from your own sales history, a restock suggestion that knows its constraints, and a costing that sits before the purchase instead of after the settlement.

Priced by order volume, not by headcount
Octuno is a flat rate per account, tiered by orders per month, from 49 to 399 euros. Users are unlimited in every plan. Bringing the assistant who books goods received and the bookkeeper into the system costs nothing extra – otherwise the price itself would be a reason to share logins and blur roles.

Show the method instead of asserting the result
The FBA calculator names the source of its fees – the official Amazon fee schedules for the EU – and in the same breath states what it cannot know: negotiated rates and product-specific surcharges. A number without its origin is worthless when you are buying stock.

A recommendation has to know its limits
The restock suggestion does not just multiply sales by lead time, it checks the quantity against your remaining FBA capacity. And the feature page spells out what the recommendation deliberately does not do, instead of pushing every limitation into a footnote.

One stock, every channel, servers in Germany
Marketplaces and carriers hang off the same stock through their APIs rather than off CSV exports. The data sits on servers in Germany. And whatever the browser extension reads from an Amazon product page is listed field by field in its own privacy policy.

Where the product stands today

Octuno is in a closed beta with no more than 30 testers. Taking part is free, and three months stay free once the beta ends. What that means for you:

Access is limited: Thirty seats, not three thousand. A request is therefore not a click on “start free trial” but a conversation about whether your catalogue fits what Octuno can do today.
Onboarding is done in person: We connect the marketplace account together, after which Octuno imports products, stock levels and sales history automatically. Budget around half an hour.
Feedback changes the roadmap: With thirty testers that is not a platitude, it is the entire reason the beta exists. The flip side: you are looking at a product that is still moving.
And what argues against us: If you need a solution proven over years, with a large partner ecosystem and a long reference list, we are not the right fit yet. We have neither, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
